Junior members must be accompanied by an adult playing member.

Bar and snack facilities are available on the ground floor and there is an attractive patio area overlooking the course, the Dee Estuary and the Welsh Hills.

Societies are welcomed on Wednesdays and Fridays. Arrangements for combined green fees and catering packages should be discussed with the Secretary/Manager.

Dress Code

On The Course

  • Conventional golf shoes are required.
  • Tailored trousers, shorts or skirts for Ladies.
  • Tailored trousers or shorts for Men. 
  • When tailored shorts are worn, ankle socks should be predominantly white or cream but knee length socks may be any single colour.
  • Denim wear, combat trousers and track/shell suits may not be worn.
  • Emblems must be limited to golf logos.
  • Hats with peaks may be worn in the conventional way with peaks facing forward.
  • Men's shirts must have sleeves and collars.  Roll neck collared shirts may be worn.
  • Shirts must be tucked into trousers. 
  • Ladies shirts may be worn with or without collars.

In The Clubhouse

  • Golf and smart casual clothes may be worn throughout the clubhouse with the exception of formal or official events or as determined by Council or the Secretary/Manager.
  • In the upstairs Clubroom, during any function, men must wear smart casual clothing or a jacket and tie and ladies the equivalent dress, unless Council or the Secretary/Manager determine otherwise. 
  • All members and visitors must remove outdoor clothing including waterproofs and hats, before using the spike bar or lounge.  Golf shoes are permitted in the spike bar.
  • Catering available Mon - Sat 11am - 6pm and Sunday 12 - 4.30pm.

Handicaps

All visitors are expected to have a current and valid handicap. Handicap certificates may be required when registering.

Tees

Play will be from the yellow tees for gentlemen and from the red LGU tees for Ladies.

Etiquette

Visitors are expected to conform to the standards of etiquette and behaviour on the course as laid down in the rules of golf, paying particular attention to the consideration of other players, safety on the course, and pace of play.

Mobile Phones

  • Mobile 'phones must be switched off when on the course or in the clubhouse
  • Their use is permitted in the area beside the public telephone in the foyer, and in the car park only.
