Assistant professional Jason Dransfield completed 10 rounds of golf yesterday starting at 02:45 and finishing at 21:55, walking 60 miles throughout the day.

On the hottest June day for 41 years, Jason took on a challenge to play 10 rounds of golf at Heswall in one day in support of four local charities included namely Maggies, Claire House, Wirral Hospice St Johns and Clatterbridge Cancer Charity.

This is an incredible achievement, not only the 55 miles covered but his accumulative score of seven under par and his best round was an incredible 65.

Congratulations to Jason on completing this challenge from all at Heswall Golf Club, albeit needing an overnight hospital stay due to dehydration! Hopefully he will take a well deserved rest over the next few days to recuperate from this accomplishment.
