| All players must hold a WHS Handicap Index to participate and win a prize, and must have recorded 8 qualifying scores within the previous 12 months prior to the date of entry. See full Rules of Eligibility |
Qualification | Approximately 36 players with the lowest gross scores in qualifying medal competitions played off blue/white tees during the current season |
| Reserves will be allocated using the above qualification criteria, including all ties allocated equally so there are a minimum of 36 competitors plus ties |
| Participating players will be expected to complete both rounds |

Handicaps | Course Handicap, as calculated by reference to your Handicap Index applicable on the day |
| Handicaps at start of play will apply to both rounds |
Handicap Allowance | 95% of Course Handicap |

Scores | All cards must be returned (including NRs) |
| Each player must ensure that his score is entered into the
computer immediately on completion of his round |
Trophy Winners | Championship Cup – the player with the Best Gross Score |
| Rose Bowl – the player with the Second Best Gross Score |
| Salver – the player with the lowest nett score |
| Williamson Cup – Over 50 years – with the best gross score |
| The four Trophy winners will also receive a Tankard and vouchers |
Prizes | Additionally, voucher prizes will be awarded for best gross and best nett scores (am and pm) of players not included in the trophy winners |

Ties | Club Championship – sudden death scratch match played Over holes 1, 2, 3, 11, and 12 |
Ties | Rose Bowl, Salver and Williamson Cup – card play-off, better second 18 holes, followed by normal card play-off on second 18 |
Notes | Adjustment is made to reflect the relative difference in daily playing conditions i.e. PCC adjustment and the relative difference in the Course Rating between the White Tees and Blue Tees |
