Eligibility | Full Playing and Provisional Members with a Handicap Index of 29.4 and below at the date of entry |
| Juniors with a Handicap Index of 20 or less |
| Only one junior per pairing allowed |
| All players must hold a WHS Handicap Index to participate and must have recorded 8 qualifying scores within the previous 12 months prior to the date of entry. See full Rules of Eligibility |
Entry Fee | As stipulated by the Golf Committee |
Handicaps | Course Handicap, as calculated by reference to your Handicap Index applicable on the day, up to a maximum of 29.4 which cannot be exceeded during the course of this competition |
Handicap Allowance | 90% of Course Handicap |
| Each player receives the full difference of Playing Handicaps from the player with the lowest Playing Handicap |
Tees | White Tees of the day |
Honour on 1st Tee | Team nearer the top of the draw |
Results | Each match must produce a winner (i.e. if match tied after
18 holes, play continues from 1st (19th) hole until a hole is won |
Playing Dates | Prior to the Final matches may be arranged on any date up to and including the closing date for that round. Each team is equally responsible for arranging the match. See full Conditions of Entry rules |
| Failure to play by the due date will result in both teams being disqualified |
| Extensions will NOT be granted |
| The final will be played on Finals Day on the date specified in the club fixture list |
| Players not available on this date should not enter |
Prizes | The Mike Fox Trophy will be awarded to the winning team plus vouchers and Tankards |

Note | A knockout match involving a Provisional Member cannot be played on a Saturday |
| In exceptional circumstances a team may be represented by a single player. In such cases the Handicap Allowance must be calculated as if all four players are playing |
