|Men’s Stroke Indices to be used
|A parent or grandparent playing with a son/daughter, grandchild, stepson/stepdaughter, or adopted child. The younger partner of each pair must be from within the direct family unit.
|At least one adult player in each pair must be a Full or Provisional Member of Heswall GC. It is not necessary for both playing partners to be members of Heswall GC.
|Five-day and Academy members may play as a visitor as long as their playing partner is an adult full/provisional member, and they meet the ‘two generations’ criteria.
|Extended family members, such as aunts/uncles, nephews/nieces, or in-laws do not qualify to play.
|All participants must hold a WHS Handicap Index at Heswall GC or at a recognised golf club to participate. Heswall Members must have recorded 8 qualifying scores and guests must have recorded 3 qualifying scores within the previous 12 months prior to the date of entry to be eligible to win the Trophy. |Juniors with a Handicap Index of 28.0 or less are eligible to play and win. Juniors with a Handicap Index above 28.0 may enter and play in the competition but cannot win.
|As stipulated by the Golf Committee
|A green fee is not required for visitors
|Course Handicap, as calculated by reference to your Handicap Index applicable on the day
|Both players Handicap Index must be entered on the scorecard
|50% of the combined Course Handicaps of the partners
|(Half strokes or over to be rounded up to a whole shot)
|Ladies will receive a handicap adjustment of two shots before the Course Handicaps are combined
|Men play off the White Tees of the day
|Junior Boys Handicap Index greater than 28.0 play off the Yellow Tees
|Ladies and Junior Girls play off the Red Tees of the day
|Each pair may decide who drives first
|All cards must be returned immediately on completion of round
|The Two Generations Trophy will be awarded to the pair with a maximum handicap index of 29.4 for men and 30.5 for ladies with the Lowest Nett Score

|The Trophy was presented by Bob Blair in 1971. He was Captain in 1970 and his son Andrew was Captain of the Colts in the same year
