Heswall Golf Club are an Official Venue for the Faldo Elite Tour, which commenced on 23^rd February at Real Club De Golf, El Prat, Barcelona.

Created in 1996, the Faldo Series aims to create access to the sport for a younger audience through grass-roots initiatives at its tournaments. The Faldo Elite Tour is an 8-event Tour with the Final being held in Florida in January 2024, and sees the very best amateur golfers in the world under the age of 25 compete to gain exemptions to the DP World Tour and Challenge Tour events.

We are proud to have hosted the second event in the series on Wednesday 26^th April, with practice rounds taking place during the afternoon of Tuesday 25^th April.

Golfers participated not only from England, Wales, and Scotland, but also from Ireland, Spain, France, Sweden and Ukraine. The field included the No.1 amateur in this age bracket, John Gough, along with Walker Cup players and many international squad members with the majority of handicaps range from +2 to +6.
