The ladies’ county championship took place over the weekend

Barbara Jamieson, Lucy Jamieson, Sara Spencer and Louise McLoughlin represented Heswall

After 36 holes Lucy Jamieson won the best qualifying round with a gross 146

Sara Spencer won the best senior qualifying round with a gross 156

The match play rounds that followed on Sunday were a testament to these fantastic golfers. Sara reached the quarter finals.

Lucy Jamieson had 4 amazing match play rounds and competed in the final on bank holiday Monday and it is an honour for HGC to announce that Lucy Jamieson is the Cheshire champion 2022.
