INAUGURAL MIXED EXCHANGE DAY
North Wales Golf Club, Llandudno – Sunday 27th June 2021
I wanted to provide you with some details of the inaugural Mixed Exchange Day at North Wales Golf Club on Sunday 27th June.
The competition format will be Mixed teams of 4 (2 Men and 2 Ladies), with the best Men’s score and the best Ladies score to count on each hole, with all four scores counting on the Par 3s.
There will be Pro Shop voucher prizes for the best 3 Stableford team scores recorded. Subject to Covid restrictions, we also plan Men’s and Ladies Nearest the Pin competitions, with prizes kindly donated by the Captain and Ladies’ Captain. There will also be a ‘Twos’ competition.
The competition entry fee is £10 per person (£40 per team) to include the ‘Twos’ competition, with 50% of the proceeds being donated to the Captain’s and Ladies’ Captain’s nominated charities and the remainder distributed as prize vouchers. Entry fees will be deducted from members’ bar cards on Friday 25th June.
We have tee times reserved for us at 10-minute intervals between 1010 – 1330. Booking will go live on BRS at 8am on Monday 7th June. Participation in the Exchange Day is open to all Full and Provisional members. Junior members with a Handicap Index of 20.0 or less are also welcome.
Please note that booking will only be available using the Supplementary Course option on BRS (further booking details below).
Bar and catering services will be available all day in the NWGC clubhouse. Subject to prevailing Covid restrictions at the time, seating will be available both indoors and outdoors.
Further details about the day, including meal options, will be circulated nearer the time.
For those members not taking part in the Exchange Day, please note that North Wales have tee times reserved at Heswall between 10am and 1pm, including buffers. Tee times outside of this period will be available for members to book in the usual way.

For ease of reference, you can find below the previously issued guidance to help you navigate the Supplementary Course booking option on BRS, whether using the club website or smartphone App. (a) If booking via the BRS App on a smartphone… · Select Tee Sheet from the options at the bottom of the screen · Select the date you wish to play (Sunday 27th June) · Select Course from the options at the top of the screen · Select Supplementary Tee Booking · Then click Done · Book your tee time in the usual way once the booking sheet goes live (b) If booking via BRS on the club’s website… · Log in to the members’ pages, and then select Book a Tee Time · Log in to BRS as normal · Select Tee Sheet from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen · Click on the blue date box at the top of the page and select the date you wish to play (Sunday 27th June) · Click on the Heswall Golf Club tab at the top of the page just to the right of the date box · When the Course Selector box appears, select Supplementary Tee Booking · Book your tee time in the usual way once the booking sheet goes live |
