After a few weeks at home it was time to get back on the road and this week was Saudi Arabia and the Aramco Saudi Ladies International at Royal Greens, a course and country I’d never been to.

As I sit here in the airport it is a time to reflect on the week and there was good and bad, an opening 77 was certainly not what I wanted. No matter how difficult the conditions were, I managed to regroup a little and shot one of the best afternoon rounds on day 2 with a 70 which moved me right up the leaderboard. Day 3 sadly followed the trend of the first day and I fought my way round in 76, so-called moving day was a backward move and this is when things get frustrating. However, the final day saw an improved performance, despite not playing my best I shot 69 to move up to a final position of 27^th.

I know I can play better than this and I’m looking forward to the next two weeks in South Africa, if we can get out of Saudi that is as there has been air strikes from Yemen nearby so our flight is delayed which means we will miss our connection in Qatar. Hopefully things settle down and we can get to South Africa on Monday.
