WE HAVE NEW MEMBERS!

As many HGC members will be aware we have two pole boxes on our grounds, which have been used by various birds in the past for breeding. So far we’ve had barn owls breeding about 5/6 years ago, followed by two kestrels breeding successfully 2 years ago and a tawny owl last year.

Since then and with the influence of technology, these two boxes were replaced by The Owl Conservations Group and a small group of volunteers to include infra-red cameras inside.

We at HGC are happy to report that the infra-red cameras have picked up both boxes are currently occupied, one by a Tawny Owl with unidentified chicks or eggs and a Stock Dove with two eggs.

Welcome to Heswall Golf Club, no doubt, your welcome packs are on there way.
