October update

Hello Ladies,

2nd October was the second of our Women on Par events. There were 24 of us out on the course, using the challenges set by England Golf and having a gin and tonic afterwards.

The Magic night was great fun and Ian McCoy definitely had us believing his tricks.

On the 18th October we had a pink ball competition in aid of breast cancer. This was well supported and it was lovely to see Zoe with her mentor Sue joining in with the pink theme.

Lady Captain’s competition on 25th October was won by Kelly Marsh and Debbie Bevan
In Second place, were Willemien Van Der Hoeven and Penny Robinson.

We had lovely soup and sandwiches for lunch.

Thank you to our budding actors who took to the course to demonstrate some of the rules of golf and videoed themselves doing it.

In November, we have the Ladies Annual Dinner, this is a sell out already and I’m sure we will have a great evening.

The Turkey trot is also one of the Autumn highlights and a day of fun golf and prizes, remember to sign up in the ladies’ locker room and put your £7 in an envelope clearly marked with your name.
