Heswall Golf Club hosted the inaugural Sponsors Salver event on Friday 28^th July 2023.

Each of the Club’s sponsors was invited to enter a team of four to play in a Stableford team event, preceded by tea, coffee and bacon batches and followed by a meal and prize presentation.

The Club would like to thank each of its sponsors for the support shown to the club and making the event a resounding success:

Inspired Kitchens and Bathrooms, Mann Island Finance Ltd, Home Instead, Stuart Kearon Painting and Decorating, Allan & Anderson Imports Ltd, Charles Stephens Funeral Directors, Activity for All, CPMS, Jewellery by Design, Burd Ward Solicitors, Move Residential, Paving Traders Ltd, Kinlan Ltd, The Beer Lab.

The weather was kind to us throughout the day and encouraged competitors to take full advantage of the two baths provided by Inspired Kitchen and Bathrooms which had been placed on the 1^st and 18^th tees and filled with a huge quantity of bottled and canned beers donated by The Beer Lab. The kind offerings were blamed for a rapid deterioration in some team performances!

Another of our sponsor’s, Paving Traders Ltd, kindly donated a nearest the pin prize for the 16^th hole in addition to a goody bag for each competitor in the field.

The Ladies’ Captain Mrs Chris Fisher presented the Salver and individual prizes following a very well received meal and several more drinks for most of our competitors. It was nice to see additional guests of the sponsors post golf, prior to and during the prize presentation.
